Recently the College of Computing and Information Technology conducted their annual ITech Festival with this year’s theme LIKE IT: Lead Innovations and Knowledgeable Experience through Information Technology, a 3-day activity that aims to strengthen the bonds of the students and the faculty members as well and quoted on the official blog of the ITech Festival 2011 ,”it aims to expose students to the latest trend in the field and to equip them with additional knowledge in Information Technology. It will also help them to develop and improve their programming skills and related talents. The activity will also serve as a venue for socialization that would develop their communication skills to be more competent”.
The College conducted different contested activities such as singing, dancing, poster-making, literary, multimedia presentation, programming and many more. There is a float parade, seminars, raffle draw and of course the Search for Mr. and Ms. CCIT 2011, wherein the winner in the latter activity will represent the college in the upcoming campus intramural.ITech Festival is a success just like the other years.

The Second Semester, School Year 2010-2011 is about to end. One of the most awaited event in every universities or schools is the graduation day. This means that a student who will graduate is done with those mind-whacking school activities such as doing assignments, taking examinations, rushing projects and others. This will also mark the new beginning for the graduating students, this will open the gate of real world for them; a more challenging one. The Isabela State University Cauayan Campus will be conducting its Commencement Exercise on April 5, 2011, Tuesday at the ISU Cauayan Campus Gymnasium.The tentative guest speaker would be Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero. To all graduating students and to their respective loving families and friends, our sincere congratulations to everyone.
Last February 9, 2010, one of the Program Chairs of the College of Computing and Information Technology Mr. Dionicio D. Gante started the website of the college - www.ccit-cyn.org which marks another milestone for the College.
This served as an instrument for the College to update its students, alumni, the community and the whole wide world about its activities, accomplishments, events, and many more. It also provided its students and instructor a venue for interaction and communication. It is available 24/7 to provide easy access to the many features intended for its clienteles and the entire world. This website became very beneficial to the College and to the University as a whole. It makes the dessimination of information faster and easier.
This year this website is enhanced to answer the fast growing needs of its users and guests. More features will be available and more useful things will be included. Watch out for those changes.
